My name is Victor Kaumba aged 27, a Zambian. I am married with two children. I completed a Bricklaying and Plastering course at MMM V.T.C. in 2003 to 2004. In 2005 I completed Construction Management at the same school. God empowered me through MMM by imparting knowledge so that it becomes a stepping stone in life. In 2007 I was head of the Building Department at Baluba Valley Farm in Zambia. Whilst I was working, God spoke to me that I should return to MMM and serve there as a tutor. In 2008, I returned to MMM as part of the staffing team. At MMM, the vision is to help serve those who serve and empower and impart knowledge not only to people who are in Ndola, but Zambia at large. For me to be effective as a trainer I have to complete a Diploma in Building and Construction after studying ‘Teaching Methodology’. I also plan to study Structural Engineering. The knowledge I will gain through training will help me to serve well and help my fellow Zambians who are poor; to be empowered and even expand the institution. To raise my own ongoing financial support, I am planning to buy a plot and build a house. In having my own house, I will no longer need to pay rent. On the property, I will be able to raise poultry, as well earn money doing carpentry and welding from a workshop I plan to build on the property. This will enable me to support my family while I am serving as a tutor at MMM. Your help will allow me to do this. If you would like to help me reach my goal of becoming self funded, you can contact Ben for further details. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thank you. May God bless you.
